Take as moment and just think about it.
When you remember the things that make you happy, you’ll smile, which is so good for your soul and your heart. Smiling boosts your mood, it lowers your blood pressure, relieves stress and if you do it often enough it can lead to better health and a longer life.
My Husband is number one on my list, we have been together for over 23 years and he is my best friend. My home and my garden make me happy, also my close friends, but you must not forget the things that you take for granted, for instance good health. My late Mum always said ‘If you have your health, you have everything’, what incredibly wise words.
My amazing Mum.
My lovely Husband (& me!).
So my dear readers, remember what makes you happy, smile often and enjoy your lives to the full, look after yourselves – and each other. xx
You two look good together !

Thank you Lilly! Your mother enriched your look at life, much as my mother does. She tells me that every day is precious. I will be happy this weekend as my better half and I drive to Maryland’s Eastern Shore to celebrate with her younger brother who turns a youthful 60. We are also looking forward to enjoying some blue crab.

A nice reminder about what’s important in life. My wife, of the last 31 years, is my best friend and travel buddy and I have no idea what I’d do, or where I would be, without her.

Love it! I did a blog post a while ago “what makes you happy?” I’m happy that you have your family and health. I agree, when you have your health we really do have so much! Have a great day.
